The Board of (Zoning) Adjustment is established with the powers and duties to authorize, in specific cases, such variance from the terms of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Olive Branch as will not be contrary to the public interest, and where, owing to special conditions, a literal enforcement of the provisions of this Ordinance would, in an individual case, result in unnecessary hardship, provided the spirit of these regulations shall be observed, public safety and welfare secured, and substantial justice done. The Board also authorizes conditional use permits in accordance with the provisions of the Ordinance.
