Board of (Zoning) Adjustment
The Board of (Zoning) Adjustment is established with the powers and duties to authorize, in specific cases, such variance from the terms of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Olive Branch as will not be contrary to the public interest, and where, owing to special conditions, a literal enforcement of the provisions of this Ordinance would, in an individual case, result in unnecessary hardship, provided the spirit of these regulations shall be observed, public safety and welfare secured, and substantial justice done.

Design Review Advisory Committee
The Design Review Advisory Committee is established with the powers and duties to recommend to the Board of Aldermen an ordinance setting forth minimum standards of design for adoption.

Old Towne Design Review Advisory Committee
The “Old Towne” District is unique through its development as the original village center of the City of Olive Branch and is an object of special and substantial public interest due to its richness in tradition, charm, and character, imparting a distinctly quaint aspect to an otherwise new City, as well as serving as a visible reminder of the cultural and historic development of the City.

Planning Commission
The Planning Commission is a recommendatory body that is appointed by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen to review subdivisions, zoning amendments, planned unit developments, and their associated project texts and development plans, site plans, and the City of Olive Branch Comprehensive Plan.
