10 Week Old Black Female Cat available for adoption

Adopt-A-Cat Month

Adopt-A-Cat Month is recognized each June – a month that also marks the height of “kitten season,” when large litters of kittens are born. Most kittens you see outside aren't abandoned! Their mom is likely nearby, out getting the food she needs to keep them alive.

If you come across a kitten litter and they look clean, have bright eyes, and are plump- leave them there and check back later.

If they look sick or injured, please take them to a vet right away or call Animal Control at 662.895.4582.

This is also a great time to schedule a spay or neuter for your cats! Learn more at www.spaydesoto.com

If you are looking to adopt a new cat or kitten, you can view all of the cats that are currently up for adoption on the Shelter's Facebook page.
