Forward momentum with new projects
The City has many new projects that are starting construction this Spring. On February 14th, we hosted a groundbreaking at the site of our new Animal Shelter. This facility will total 6,652 square feet. It will provide housing for 65 dogs, have a designated room for cats, an adoption space, plus functional office space for our Animal Control Staff amongst many other amenities.

This new facility with over 24,000 square-foot will include space for inventory, an equipment simulator training room, and a large conference/training area for department meetings and safety trainings. It will be located behind the Olive Branch Police Department and Fleet Services buildings located off of HWY 178.
Additionally, the City will be opening Bids for the George M.
