Today Mayor Ken Adams, the Board of Aldermen, and Olive Branch Parks and Recreation hosted a ribbon cutting on the City’s New Frisbee Disc Golf Course located inside City Park.

This 18-hole disc golf course was designed by City Staff and Local Disc Golf players who volunteered their time. The course is 18 holes with a Par of 56 spanning 5,307 feet along City Park’s Nature Walking Trail. The Course begins near the start of the trail beside the Playground.

All capital funding for this project was funded through the City of Olive Branch’s People for Parks Hotel Tourism Tax. In 2022, Olive Branch residents voted overwhelmingly in favor of implementing a one-percent tourism tax on hotel stays within City Limits that would help fund park improvements such as the disc golf course and the expansion of George M. Harrison Soccer Complex.
